Where can I find a Junior Ranger Program?
There are junior ranger programs all across the United States and its territories. Almost every National Park has one, plus they’re available at many US Forest Service sites, State Parks, US Fish & Wildlife sites and more. You can use our Junior Ranger Finder to locate the ones near you.
What products does Ranger Trek offer?

What is the purpose of the Ranger Trek Club Patches?
The Ranger Trek Club Patches are a great way to reward your Junior Rangers for their hard work completing all those junior ranger programs. The club patches let your Junior Ranger show off how many junior ranger programs they’ve completed. Plus they help give your Junior Ranger a goal to complete more junior ranger programs to get to the next Ranger Trek Club Patch level.
Can I buy Ranger Trek products in the National Parks?
Yes, we do sell our products in many of the National Parks. We aren’t available in all the parks quite yet, but we are expanding to more every year!
How old do you have to be to participate in the Junior Ranger Program?
The simple answer is all people of all ages are welcome to participate in the junior ranger program. To learn more about how to participate as a teen or adult check out this blog.
How many National Parks are there in the United States?
As of January 2025 there are 433 units of the National Park Service. 63 of those are designated as National Parks. For a list of all the junior ranger programs offered at each National Park Service site, organized by region and state, click here.
